The course was absolutely needed for all to remind us of the laws and policies in place.  I am glad they made changes that were much needed.  In admissions or as a director, we are all here for the students/prospective students to ensure they are knowledgeable in making the decision that is best for them.

Admissions or as a Director, it was great to learn what we have been doing is the right thing.  I also think that making sure we do right by the students should be everyone's main objective when in higher education.

I agree somewhat, but you must look through the postings to find the information that can best help you or which you are most interested in.  The information was very useful and all four modules were well structured.  I find forums can help or hurt.

I thought the information on compliance from recruiting to program expections was great.   We need to stress more to the students of the services offered but it is not up to us if they are actually placed in a position.  The need the knowledge, certificate/diploma, and the ability to interview.  I fell my institute has all the tools to help prospective students succeed.  I am glad that I took this course to better serve those students as well as current students.

I found the ton of information not just appliable to the job but my personal life.  I was unaware of the DNC guidelines and CAN-SPAM Act.  I found the information also could be used to apply toward students to help them understand their furture without anyone using tactics that are unethical.  I now know what is required for the students to know to make an educated decision on their futures whether with us or another institute.

Melinda, I am glad you agree of the importance of informing the students off all aspects of a program. They should know the good with the bad and decide for themselves a program is right for them. All requirements need to be clearly stated so they can make the best decision for their circumstances.

I found the information as informative as you guys.  I found the information helped to back up what I have always practiced since I have worked at other Commercial Colleges.  As a director and guiding new students, I have never compared or talked about the other institutes in which I worked.  I found it a conflict of interest, but now know that it is actually a federal/State policy.  I am glad my morale beliefs have helped in my unknowingness and now my new found knowledge.  I also have found new topics I need to cover and make sure new prospective… >>>

I agree that campus security is a great asset to any campus because of the uprise in school violence on campuses. I have found it is from Elementary all the way to Secondary Education that has to be aware of the violence that has become an epidemic in today's society.
I think the elimination helps an institution take accountability for fair recruitment practices and stops the higher ups from padding their pockets from unfair practices or profiting from others who are not necessarily qualified to go to an institution. It also helps with the institutions stability of the number of students dropping out, pass ratios, and students seeking a proper education. Incentive compensation should be made not by enrollment but by the successful number of students that complete an accredited program.

I have found having Campus Security is a great benefit and comfort to the staff and students. We have had serveral instances where security was needed from posible outside harm. Campus Security has reacted and protected us in a professional manner. I also like the fact I can have an escort to my car since I work late nights. I feel all Campuses should have some sort of security program in play.
