I appreciated the following suggestion about virtual samples, "At last count, there is not one best repository of such virtual samples, but MERLOT (Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching), a well-known repository of reusable learning objects, can provide a starting place for instructors. MERLOT provides access to useful and validated digital artifacts that can be used by instructors free of charge. I appreciated the reminder from Chickering and Gamson (1987) on "Good practice in undergraduate education."

I appreciated the suggestions on strategies for learner engagement, and the idea of using scenarios that learners act out in an online setting.

I would like to explore the use of ePortfolios in Canvas, as well as the suggestions to create the "perfect educational setting" to include "both asynchronous and synchronous learning activities...conduct[ing] experiments at [students'] own pace...permitting self-reflection on their experiences [and] allowing [students] to showcase their own level of knowledge and expertise."
