We must always be there for the students. Help them when we can, but also be acutely aware that we don't have all the answers at time and may need to seek out wisdom from someone else in another office at the school that may be more aware of the answer to the question. Don't be afraid to ask for help.

It is crucial that we be transparent and truthful with students as respresenatives of the school.

As an adjunct online instructor, I am interested in understanding more about the schools admission process. Although I don't directly deal with admissions since I am instructor if a student is interested in attending the school, then it would be good for me to have a good knowledge of the process so that I can advise them or point them in the direction of an admissions counselor.

I learned about the Triad Regulators and that the state and national government are important in regulating schools.

I believe that knowing the mission statement of your institution is incredibly important. In essence, this is what the foundation of your school is built upon and everyone needs to adhere to it and make sure that they fully understand what it says and means.

I believe that as online instructors we need to be more than just instructors, we need to also remember to be cheerleaders for our students. It is important that they remember that there is a person behind the computer and we care about them. We need to remember to send words of encouragement to them, especially during this time of the pandemic because students are dealing with so much more than just school right now.
