I learned that even though I work in the admissions department of my college, its very much recommended to also have knowledge of what the other departments in my college do to provide that information to my students and feel more confident. 

I liked the ideas shared when it comes to learning the college's programs. For example, I think sitting in the class of a specific program is a good idea. If I have the chance, I will definitely sit in the classes once so I may be able to provide more knowledge and feedback on a specific program and their classes to the students.

I learned that its important to have the students sign the enrollment agreement for them to be considered enrolled in a particular program at the college. Without signing it, they are not yet considered as a enrolled student. Also, I must follow the specific protocol and order of my college's enrollment process.

Hello. 

I have learned to keep myself updated with the state statues as well as the policies of the college I work at. The resource binder will be of great help. I believe that will allow me to keep myself well-informed and organized on any updates on my college's catalog, staff, programs, tuition, etc. Being aware of the rules and regulations will help me be compliant and put into practice what I learned. Even if it takes me a while to learn them, having them in my resource binder will help me not feel overwhelmed and take it day by… >>>
