This module provided a road map on how to manage and engage with students via asynchronous and synchronous. It was interesting to note that there are minor differences on how to utilize each for maximum student benefit. This module was very instructive.

I learned that you do not have to throw out the baby with the bathwater or reinvent the wheel. I learned that we are able to incorporate strategies that we imploy in the classroom to the online environment. 

I've learned a number of important aspects and characteristics of delivering an online course. The main characteristics of a quality online course are structual integrity, navigation simplicity, intellectual interaction, and active learner-centered learning. I also learned the importance that the college's CMS system can really make or break the learning process, and the lack of a good CMS program can cause early attrition and poor learning outcomes.
