About me

My career is and has always been driven by a passion for helping job seekers learn how to integrate pro-action with right action through innovative, transformative learning programs that lead to high employment success.

I have experienced exceptional outcomes over the past 30+ years in developing and conducting job search skills learning programs that have resulted in placement rates in the 90th percentile at nationally accredited institutions of higher education and other training organizations.

I have initiated, developed, and conducted more than 700 job search skills programs, workshops and seminars for state-licensed and nationally accredited career schools, academic institutions including Molloy College, Miami University of Ohio and Cheyney University, private placement agencies, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Employment and Training, and the Chester County Pennsylvania CareerLink.

One of my proprietary learning programs earned approval for validated CEUs by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) for outstanding results.  ACCET is a national institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

I am currently a principal consultant at Gamelin Associates and the Business Development Project Manager at ASPIRA City College, a new nonprofit private career college dedicated to serving the higher education needs of high need communities of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Activity

I found this module to represent an excellent way to introduce and practice good worker and communication skills.  This information will be especially important to those students who have had limited successes on the job and perhaps in life.

It's not what was presented that was most valuable to me.  It was the flow of how to conduct the classes.  Excellent!

Reply to Mary Nourse's post: It's always good to surprise a prospective employer with that extra effort.

I found this module to confirm what I've practiced for many years.  Excellent learning opportunity for those who are just entering the field.

I've included most of these job search methods in the workshops and seminars I've conducted over the past 35+ years.  I'm impressed at the way this course puts it all together, and especially the focus on networking.  This is an excellent approach that has guided me to alter mine.  Thanks!
