it is important to match the proper technology tool to the subject being taught.  This is a key component in forming the virtual classroom.  It is also important to get feedback from the students as to Start, Stop and Continue specific aspects of the class being taught.

Feedback is an essential checkpoint in assessing the level of learning for the student, instructor, and the class as a whole.

A methodical approach to learning via scaffolding information, concepts and techniques promotes group interaction with students and gives mini-assessments and knowledge checks to ensure the objectives to what is being taught is achieved.

It is recommended ther is a consistency and continuity in developing a course.  It is also recommended there not be excessie visual aids to overload the learner.

This gives the student  motivation to work towards a tangable goal. This is motivation to learn throgh precise, well developed sequential steps.

If a student is aware which learning lechnique is best for them, they should express it to the instructure. A big part of learning and turning in a successful assignment is getting clarification about instructions and recapping what has been learned.

Group learning can be invaluable as students get to experience many points of view rather than just their own. This promotes greater interaction.

It is important to engage with the students and help them see the value in an assignment, activity or interaction they may see as unnecessary while stressing ownership in their education. This philosophy is essential for future success in whatever profession they choose later in life.  The process of working one's way through the higher education process very simply, are the building blocks for the foundation of a successful professional career.  Small exercises in a class are only one piece of a larger, more comprehensive picture of one's overall education that should soon come together.

Students must be motivated regardless of learning in person or online.  It is important to break down assignments into managable, meaningful and comprehensive assignments.  Open ended questions will ensure meaningful engagement while being specific with assignment content and deadlines. This will ensure the framework for expectations.  Student feedback is essential to modify a lesson or assignment for full participation.  It is important for students to feel they are contributing in a meaningful way as this can be a powerful motivator.
