It was interesting to see the Learnng Styles identified. I knew this from classroom teaching, but hadn't pinpointed it to words
I learned that it is important to be honest with the students ( for ex I have not taught online) but that i am there to support and learn the online process along wth them, but also establish to respect and presence.
As Gardner pointed out, there are different learning styles. I personally cannot concentrate when there is music on because I get lost in the music. My sister, on the other hand, studies her best with background music- and she is an ace! So music needs to be considered on a personal basis. However, as a language learning tool - it is exceptional when used with popluar, rhythmic and almost hypnotic beats ( think The Weekend, Despacito, etc!)
I was made aware that the same reasons I was hesitant to teach online classes, are the same hesitations the students have...- lack of technical support, unfamiliarity with the mode, feeling lost

Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
