Closing the loop ensures a course is meeting the standards set my the organization and helps students reach the goals of course. Using multiple different sources of information is crucial to get high quality course evaluations.

Understanding how to assess an assignment is essential to student success. Planning an assignment requires understanding the learning objectives which helps inform how to build a rubric.

Clarifying how to communicate with the instructor, and other students, is critical for student success. This ensures students can reach out when help is needed and establishes a baseline for everyone to reference.

A learning object data base can help everyone involved save time and improve the learning objects better. The more eyes you have on a course template, the more improvements that can be made to it.

This module helped me understand how people's personalities effect an e-learning environment differently from a live learning environment.

It's important to understand how students learn. Their learning habits can be detrimental to a group based on how they interact with other students. Being able to identify unhealthy learning behaviors is pivotal to helping students be successful in the course.

It's important to establish a digital presence in the virtual classroom. This includes being active in discussions, providing frequent feedback, reminders/announcements, etc. These ensure you have the "face-time" with students to build trust so they can be comfortable in the online learning environment.

This module helped impose the importance of understanding how to use the CMS in conjunction with the content. This will allow me to build an experience that pushes students and gives them the intellectual involvement to learn the course content.
