Synchronous discussions will more often than not be challenging to keep track of, it is easier and creates higher information retention to utilize asynchronous discussions as much as possible; you must alway be mindful of your word choice and tone to have positive outcomes and performance

Projecting your presence is less about establishing authority and more about making students comfortable enough to engage with you as their instructor and their peers to ensure maximized learning outcomes.

Online istruction requires a higher level of dedication to teaching than standard teaching as you are rquired to familairize yourself with various electronic systems to ensure the proper instruction of your students. A sure method for success is to familiarize yourself with the available and required technology/softwares to help guide your students to success

Do not limit yourself to one teaching style, there may be other methods for gwtting your point across easier and always make sure to have multiple examples in different styles to create better understanding of you lesson.

Introductions and reviewing course expectations are necessary to help students feel more at ease and prepared for the courses they will be taking. If the students do not feel prepared or comfortable it may hinder maximum learning.

In creating the course outlines and lesson plans you are not only helping the students understand what they will be learning and practicing but also allowing yourself to effectively prepare your day to day lessons with ease

As a first time instructor the most important point I took from this module is definitely staying up to date with industry/technology developments as well as finding resources to further develop my own skills; although I will be the one teaching others, it does not mean my learning has ended.
