About me
Activity
One area I'd like to incorporate is more student involvement in the process. While we have few degrees of freedom in curriculum design, there are areas that might work better with student directed activities such as testing or assignment development.
In an online or blended education world, ownership makes the virtual classroom more vital. In a physical classroom, it is easy to bring distracted students back as ownership grows. Virtual classrooms require more energy and mathods to develop owndership.
I'm developing a new approach to online math: one that uses embeddded videos, enriched topic material, student to student mentoring, in addition to standard online tools. Does anyone have experience with attempts or successes with these ideas.
