Help unfocused students focus on the importance of the information provided, the ensure their own individual success, the better the comprehend the information and ask questions, the more income they'll have the ability to earn. 

We already engage in "Ice Breakers" as each new class comes in, the biggest hurdle is getting assignments turned in in a reasonable time frame. A set due date for assignments and reducing points value based on how late the assignments are turned in. 

Practical demonstrations and class interaction are extremely important, we bring electrical testing boards into class and use them during lecture for additional hands on and theory application. 

We currently use this at the beginning of each phase, it makes the transition between different class or Instructors much smoother. It makes the students more comfortable with us as Instructors and one another. It allows Instructors another method of identifying potential students who may accel and those that may require extra support. 

Prep and planning are extremely important, they allow a smoother pace during lecture, as well as a more efficient method for students to take in information. hopefully making for a smoother transition from classroom to the Shop/Lab.

Our best methods of portraying professionalism and developing as and inspector, is to be as familir as possible with the ever evolving technology in our field. Being prepared for new advancements and regulations, and being prepared before each lecture with theory as well as a working knowledge of the practical applications.
