Learning preferences and learning challenges are important to teaching. Knowing the difference can help your students succeed in school. 

Language is a reflection of culture. Culture is expressed through language.

Remember that race and culture are equally important. Race is a social construct and cultures refers to how we all behave. 

Accommodating student diversity is important because it make the learning process more effective. 

During evaluating students mastery of the course keep in mind the students ability to know, understand, and apply the key facts. 

During a questioning activity ask the struggling student question that will help the student answer the question correctly. 

Adjust and recreate your teaching based on your students to help create a more effective learning environment. 

Start class with Icebreakers to create active student engagement and to encourage other students who come late. 

Be a motivator. Provide reinforcement that will enhance motivation. Provide immediate feedback. 

Help students develop into successful learns by identifying the reason they enrolled in the class. Build a rapport with students.
