metarubrics tool is essentially a rubric for a rubric to ensure it is meeting the criteria and goals for student

There are different ways to approach the building of a rubric and about different ways to collect the data that drives the building of a rubric for a specific assessment. The rubric should always be clear and consistent and fair.

Rubrics help the instructor simplify grading and ensure consistency. Self and peer assessment is helpful in class to encourage student's competency and self relfection of peer assessment. Instructor can assess with trade expertise and encourage value of each item in rubric and how that will be helpful in recalling information for exams.

Rubrics are helpful to both student and the instructor and simplifies grading and ensure consistency.

Orchestration in continually developing new material and adapting learning material with each data gathered from previous classes is very critical to continuing success and experience for the student.

I prefer a course that provides a mixture of teacher-centered and student-centered approaches with a moderate level of interaction means that, for the most part, the teacher leads the majority of the discussions.  The instructor posts questions on a discussion board and the students will answer one or two a week. The instructor could use synchronous chatting or continue with the asynchronous chatting with discussion boards. The instructor will selectively answer questions through emails.

synchronous and asynchronous styles have both advantages and disadvantages. One disadvantage to asynchronous would be for students who often procrastinte their assignments, self paced would not work in that instance.

It is important to learn how to assess the tools to complement your teaching style
