Everyone learns differently and it is imperative to ensure instructional methods hit many different types of learning.

Provide support to students whose mother tongue is not the language the course is being taught in. 

To not assume you know everything about a specific culture just because you read up on it. Recognize the existence of culture, but build relationships with students to allow them to show you their specific individuality. 

You must be aware that while many students may self identify in the same culture, does not mean every student of that culture have the same opinions. Celebrate and utilize the uniqueness of each student in your course.
