Using right amount of extrinsic motivation can help develop intrinsic motivation

During an activity in the classroom, do not sit at your table. Walk around the classroom and answer questions. Sitting will tell your students you are not eager to do activity and you rather do something else

Learn from your mistakes. When an activity, lecture does not work for you make a note of it and next time when you are preparing you do not make the same mistakes

Is students have the opportunuty to cheat they will. Make sure to sit them far apart that they can not look at their neighbors.

Don't let the center stage student answer all the questions. Give them "observer " role and they can only speak when they are asked to

I learned a simple group activity as an icebreaker will help students work together and settle in the course

Students may decide to discontinue your course due to different reasons. If it is is because of technical difficulties we can remeind them they can get technical support.

Synchronous discussion should only be used max 5-6 students and students should know in advance what the topic will be. Also at the beginning of a discussion session there should be small talk.

I leanred that students should know your academic credentials as soon as the course starts so that you can show your presence.

I have learned I should familiarize myself with how to navigate the learning system and answers to some questions regarding deadline and rules of the class so that I can answer questions from  my students
