Reminding each person how extremely capable they are, how unique and human they are is important to success. Learning names and listening.

Students have perceived recently during COVID as driven by policies and less than compassionate, when really, I did not have a lot of communication from my administration, and I really did not know what to say. I want to maintain a comfortable learning environment for everyone. This module was helpful to cover and remind of strategies.

Being passionate, greeting students, being prepared really stood out to me. Students perception of all of these matter. Also consistency and compassion, listening.
