Feedback is very important in an online classroom.  The feedback an instructor gives allows a student to make the necessary adjustments to suuceed and make better grades if necessary from week to week.  

What are some different types of feedback that you use to steer your students towards success?

This course was a real eye opener.  I did not know the extent of the process and evaluation that it took in order to design a course.  I have a greater appreciation for the course designers and developers.  The course made me realize that the design of the course is the most important aspect of the course that will allow students to gain knowledge.

The EL 102 course really helped me to further my knowledge of how to manage and maintain my courses and students online.  I have been teaching online for two years and I thought I had all the knowledge I needed until I took this course.  The one thing that stood out for me is finding out the different type of learners online i.e. noisy, avoiders, intimidators, and procrastinators.  The course really gave me great ideas on how to manage these different type of learners and how to resolve problems in the discussion forums.  These techniques really opened my eyes on… >>>
