In addition to the reminder of the necessity for experienced instructors to refine the concept of Model, Manager and Motivator, the "5 C's" were relevant and important points of discussions presented in the module. 

These are are great creative kinetic ideas to help with critical information.

 

I found the ideas to be significantly informative and practical. I will attempt the "Dot method".

 

I learned that with a flipped classroom, the students' role change from passive participants in the learning process where they are served by instructors to a role of active engagement.

 

I learned that there is not "the" flipped classroom, but "a" flipped classroom. The concept is an adaptable method.

 

I learned that proactive communication and timely professional development for instructors are two elements that will increase students' motivation with flipping the classroom.

 

I learned that a key component of "Flipping the Classroom" is to "Repurpose" in-class time into an experimental, inquiry-based learning environment.

 

I will implement real life relatable stories with the class.

The importance of having an organizational scheme to support being able to locate and retrieve students' documentation, assignments, emails, etc efficciently.

 

It is an important recommendation not to use synchronous discussions to instruct important course content or get a feel for students' understanding of the concept.
