I can see where it would be difficult to switch, but in the end would be beneficial

Yes students need to know where they stand, if they aren't getting something right away they need to know that its ok that it will click and make sense. I think that would apply to anyone for any situation if we didn't have reinforcement would have alot of qutters or things not completed, and alot of negeative attitudes.

@knp3036   I always give them my introduction I tell them my experience in my profession, I inform my students that I like to have fun while we learn. I go over polices and exspectations and finally I share with them that I know how fill because I was a student 20 years ago at the same school and I made my full circle. then i have them go around the room with there introductions.
