I like for my students to use the VARK analysis in Freshman orientation to help them determine which style of learning works for them. Also, incorporating all styles into the classroom and clinical is vital for student success.

As a nurse of over 33 years, it is crucial to apply competency-based learning. The experience and knowledge that students gain is invaluable. It helps develop critical thinking skills as well.
