It is important to stay up-to-date on policies, rules and procedures. It is also important to ensure that students are aware of all of the criteria that possible transfer credits must meet in order to get those credits. 

I learned different types of advertising strategies to get information out to prospective or current students. 

It is important to be familiar with the enrollment agreement and standard information of financial aid, despite there being specialists in these topics. It is pertinent to explain each topic to prospective students so they know what is expected of them. 

I learned the importance of using different terms and always being accurate when portraying information to students. I also learned that there are specific expectations of what my role entails for students to be successful.
