About me

I teach high school business and marketing as well as sponsor DECA.

Activity

There is so much to learn about negotiation. This course had very helpful information. BATNA was something I knew nothing about when I started this course.

I learned a lot about applying marketing knowledge to an educational setting. The customer is always the focus and there are many different ways to best understand our customers.

I really enjoyed the videos in this course. I learned that all levels of an organization need to know, understand, and work to create a positive experience for customers. I also learned a lot that I did not know about customer loyalty. It is important to listen to feedback and use that to guide decision making.

Finding a job can be stressful and overwhelming, having the right resources and support is key.

Helping students remain positive and also really showing the importance of connections. I like the idea of having HR come in and speak with students about what they are looking for is helpful.

Helping students recognize their strengths and weaknesses and helping them be realistic is important.

Involving more non-profits woule be a great place to enhance our community connections.

It supports the goal of perkins.

I was not surprised by the rules and regulations. However, I do find it overwhelming the process and details involved in the spending of perkins funding.

Supervising interns requires many different hats for the instructor. It is important for the instructor to support the student towards their goals.
