I'm not perfect and I don't know everything. My students laugh with me when I mess up...they know I will get it right eventually.

I always have a seating chart so I can know the student's names and keep track of a students whereabouts.

All students can learn. It's their choice, but it's my responsibility to encourage them to engage, watch them closely to prevent cheating and get to know them so they feel comfortable with me and my class.

My biggest issue is "class clowns" who wants everyone to laugh at and notice them. I find that if I don't have assignments that last the entire class, students get more rambuncious.

Making an "appealing" syllabus has always been my intent, but I plan to do a better job next year. Starting the year off with icebreakers is so much fun. The students normally open up and participate and become more relaxed for my class. I always work with students who miss assignments...I want everyone to succeed.
