i like the tree example.  Can you guess what type of learner i am?  I am going to try to utilize that and incorporate lecture/ show procedure/ student do procedures. 

With the amount of new people i meet daily at the hospital, at my kids school, and now teaching learning names is one thing i am concerned about.  I appreciate the ideas presented to me to learn names.   I think i am going to do my best to show up early and have everything organized so i can start on time.   I  want to show them i respect their time/money they put in as well. 

Make a checklist, be prepared, but also be flexable

 

importance of sops, keeping the line of instructor/ friendly w students, knowing your material and having plans/back up plans

 

Student will react to online assignments according to what type they are.  follow your schools rules to deal w them  Stick to email to have documentation of any communication w them

Ok i am going to date myself here.  When online components to classes started in the early 00 when i got my BA it was a mess.  We had people taking the classes that did not know how to turn on a computer, sign on to the internet, or type more than a very slow hunt and peck typing.  The classes were horrible and before I graduated you had to take a computer class or test out of it before signing up for the class.  I am just nervous that i will not be enough help that they will be… >>>
