VR technology can expand the learning experience of students beyond what they regularly might experience and provide the opportunity to learn new things beyond their immediate reality and experience. I will consider if VR would be a good fit for my curriculum.
Keeping discussions open, while providing access to a variety of methods to engage and collect information provides students a greater foundation for literacy. Collecting and analyzing multiple sources of information helps students in my class make more informed decisions with greater confidence in the accuracy of the information and their decisions to use it.
Educators should not minimize communication to conventional, linear models, nor expect only unidirectional communication.
To meet diverse learning needs, instructors should be innovative in their activities, planning, and assessment. Reading, writing, speaking, and listening are all part of literacy development.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
