Proper use of evaluation and feedback is key to student understanding and positive learning outcomes.
I learned that having a clearly devised plan, using rubrics, with both peer and self assessment, create a viable and well rounded approach to learning.
The scaffolding allows for a structure to ensure that the students are informed, engaged, and assessed, and the course may also be assessed for successful adoption, and as a result, the syllabus can be changed.
This section of the course has reinforced my understanding of maintaining consistent format/objective breakdown, then meet those objectives, practice and reinforce the objectives, then assess understanding and possible need to reframe the course development.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
