It is of extreme importance to develop relationsips with students throughout the entire process and schooling to ensure they are working with you post graduation for employemnt purposes.
Students do need to be able to trust us as employees, and we owe it to them to give them the truth. Although it sometime can be painful, we can not hand old individuals throught hte process. There will be no one holding their hands "out there"

I think more employees should be recongized at a higher level for their committment and drive to better the lives of the population we are serving.

I would assume to direct all students with questions not pertaining to your area of expertise to the professional. I personally would not take the chance with my career by offereing answeres in which I am not qualified to do so.

I use examples constantly of graduates whove ive assisted (withou names and facilities) to ensure the graduate that I now what Im doing and to put their trust in me will effect them positively in job search
I come across many students/graduates that do not want the truth. When discussing their personal issues or lack of motivationion while looking for work they are easily offeneded.

Can be pretty painful considering some of the topics I have to discuss with my graduates. From hygiene, persona beliefs and tatoos. I sometimes struggloe with the proper approahc. I have a hrad time when I am a stright forward, tell it how it is kind of person. I have no sugar coating skills, which I think sometimes is neccessary.

How can you recommend your own need for advancement with in the company?

I have taken quite a few of these online trainging course and this definataly sopke to me and what I do at my campus. Very helpful
