This was an informative course and there were great tips to help manage the classroom while keeping students engaged within the class.

A few things that stood out was to overprepare this way if an activity doesn't last as long as you think, you have more material to use.  I also use guest speakers, I have one for each class, but I try to do more and or incorporate a "field trip" or networking event that would apply to the studnets course work to help engage them in the importance of the class.

Yes the course did talk about what admission, financial aid and recruiters can do for the insitution.  Some of these are very difficult jobs indeed!

Hi Jamie and Steven,

I understand where you are both coming from, while I am working part-time, I also am in school working on my doctorate and have an infant.  I understand this is also a condition of employment.  I did have to take the time away from, my school work, preparing for my students as well as family to complete this course. 

I am in agreement with you Steven, I don't mind completing things that will enhance my ability to teach and did become somewhat frusterated with taking this, however, this to my understanding was a condition… >>>
