Heather, Isn't it amazing how "small" the world is! We have to make sure students understand the power and the purpose of social networking. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson

Kimberly, Do you have any ideas regarding how you would use them? I love to hear ideas! Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Madhuchanda, You are so right. I heard of new companies who now collect information within social media sights and give reports to employers. Much like a credit bureau. They go back about seven years on average. Isn't that scarey? Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Steven, I agree with you. This is really no difference in delivery; the more engaged students the better the outcome for the student. Time management is still such a problem for all students in any delivery modality. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Steven, Nice post. I also think as an instructor you are modeling to your students how use that information should you choose to share it with them. Many students don't know how to self evaluate. This is such an important skill. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Anthony, Nice post! You really provide a great example how you react to students' needs within an online course in comparison to f2f course. I also want to point to your use of technology and you can address multiple students' questions, this is good workload management! You build your resources to help more students. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Michael, So, do you think content can be the same delivery is different? Do you think that content should guide learning in a f2f course? Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Patricia, Why do you think that students are more dependent learners than online learners. Is that part of the reason why f2f courses are different than online? For many institutions, if you change the content of the course it changes the course and must go through official process. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Michael, I love your analogy of the different types of shoes that match my analogy. There are different looks of the instructor the student may or may not see. We don't have to be experts in each field, we just have to be aware. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Patricia, You make such great points. It is important that we as instructors play a supporting role in the learning process and we have do address a variety of issues that are unique to that one individual. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
