Frank, You are right. Keeping students abreast of expectations continually is so important. I also agree with the degree of communication you need to keep students plugged into the learning. Nice job! Dr. Kelly Wilkinson

Rebecca, You make a great point about management of a blog. You would have to set your own perimeters regarding the blog. I have had several colleagues use twitter and they find it very powerful. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Rebecca, You identify many items that should be assessed. Would you use a rubric? Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Rebecca, They can just follow you or you can create "versions" of you based on class. I think I am using it the same way as you this semester. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Richard, I think that is such a smart idea to have students "follow" a leader through social media. It will teach them the language of success! Great idea. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Rebecca, I like your enthusiasm! The more time ( even short time) they can be in the content more and more and that is a good thing! I want them thinking about how they can apply and how they can engage in the content all the time. I know this is a dream. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Rebecca, I agree with you and I actually call myself a tour guide for a course. You make a great point about using the microblogging as a collaborative tool. I like your suggestion for this tool. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Richard, What a great post! You have really done some "homework" in using these media sites. I use a product called Tegrity that is a lecture capture software that can be utilized by students and it is password protected. You also make a great point about cultural differences regarding videos. Do you encourage students to use the phones for recording? Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
Richard, You are so right. Now there are companies that will look for information on social media such as a credit bureau. The scarey thing is they look for and keep information on subjects for up to seven year. Dr. Kelly Wilkinson
