I would like to start a discussion on specifics of flipping the classroom.  The course spoke in generalities.  What specifically have you done or plan to do in order to flip the classroom in your course?

@dgiles13 The latest research shows that stess is transferred between all people, even strangers.  If one member of a team is stressed, then all who come into contact with that person will exhibit signs of stress (increased heart rate, elevated cortisol and adrenalin levels etc.)  By being under stress you are negatively affecting the health of all those around you.

This course was clear and useful.  I plan to use some of the ideas presented.  I have done more hands on in the past but have used less recently becaue of the amount of prep time.  I think I will go back to them and incorporate some new ideas presented in this course.

There is so much information readily accessible via the internet that these new students do not want to be bogged down with irrelevant information. My question is this: What does one do with a curriculum that is full of irrelevant information? The information must be taught, however, because it is included on the National Board.
