Students put their faith in an organization that they are doing ethical and knowledgeable duties to stay compliant. It is not smart for an institution to not stay abreast on government regulations that are necessary for the success of their institution.

Social Media

Social Media has become a great tool to use with contacting students especially when their information is consistently changing. Students are very quick to respond and interested in using social media sites. Social media wiill most likely become a more vital tool with the increase in technology in the future.

Misrepresentation

Never guarantee anything to a student or potential student because it will misrepresent and give them false information. If you do not know the information, you should have them speak to the appropriate department or receive further clarification yourself.

Complianace

Compliance is not only a huge requirement amongst Admissions and Financial Aid, but it is also a requirement in the Education Department as well. Educators have to make sure they are not "misguiding" students while they are in school. In addition, their files must also be maintained and stored appropriately.
