I’m focusing on clear goals, simple structures, and steady reflection. I’ll plan lessons with the end in mind, communicate expectations upfront, and create a welcoming, respectful environment. To keep learners engaged, I’ll mix brief explanations with opportunities to practice and discuss.

I love the idea of giving the students a crisis situation. This would be a fun challenge.

I absolutely loved the instructor who stated, (I am paraphrasing), Loosen the reins on the horse and the horse is happier. Try not to control the horse, or student/classroom, and let them enjoy the process.

This section helped to solidify my understanding of the variety of journeys that students are on when it comes to attending college. It was helpful to refresh on seeing each student as an individual.
