There are 8 stages when working with a student experiencing a problem. Let them have an opportunity to express concerns. 

The commitment of the school can change the student's perception and encourage their desire to remain in school. Encourage students by demonstrating a commitment to them. 

I learned that early recognition that a student is having difficulty promotes early interventions.
