Hi, my name is Kerry, and I have been a nurse since 2013. My learning interests include education of others, informatics, and data analysis.
Activity
As mentioned in this unit, a goal for learning is learning about oneself. I believe a nursing program teaches you a lot about oneself. I learned that adult learners typically have an attention span of less.
The information in this module reinforces the discussion on professionalism. You would be modeling traits such as being prepared, being on time, participating. These are all imperative to student and instructor success.
I enjoyed the discussion regarding professionalism. I aligned with a lot of ways the module described professionalism, e.g. speaking with my peers professionally. Some pitfalls that were mentioned also were thought-provoking and appreciated. I look forward to hearing and learning more!
