I think its important to be empathic with the students and know that it is real with the discrimination they will deal with but also to have them understand they should be up front with their colleagues and educators on how they like to be addressed.

I learned that someone should do a bit more research  on the company to make sure they will feel comfortable and they can ask questions that provide more clarity

I would suggest to coordinate them with a mentor that could help them understand how to own their own success.

I learned to understand the common barriers LGBTQ students face that uniquely influence their career choices and opportunities for progression.

I would like to have templates readily available for student referrals, re-engagement emails, and outreach support

I intend on putting up a resource board and be proactive with student engagement when conflicts arsie

I plan on utilizing color coding for risk assessment for placement outcomes. Also knowing who is priority will be helpful because as mentioned not everyone will get same attention depending on the needs.

Remembering that we all take part in getting the future graduate to completion. Having good communication with instructors and leadership to know what is going on with students before they drop. Documenting communication and make it simple and ALWAYS be in compliance not just last minute.

Direct more focus to after the interview and how follow up looks. Alot of people can get interviews but having the perspective of following up can help the chances of landing their dream job.

There was so many helpful worksheets that I will utilize going forward. Having students identify barriers will allow them to move forward on changing the negatives into a positive.
