I'm always reassuring students that additional help is available. We frequently schedule one-on-one help sessions so each student knows that they can get individual help, if needed. Every student is important to us, no one is "unimportant".

Student retention is the responsibility of all staff members.

Learning the art of asking great questions helps you identify the prospect's wants, needs, and challenges sooner.

Don't forget to always ask for referrals!

Practice validating, normalizing, and neutralizing!

Identifying the challenges to your prospect's enrollment is important so you can suggest potential solutions.

I learned that establishing a framework ensures all relevant information is covered. A framework can prevent admission reps from appearing scattered and unfocused. Frameworks prevent pre-conceived notions about prospects.

Excellent information especially in regard to social media awareness. Social media has become one of the most popular ways for students to find out about career schools. Schools must realize that their online presence can make or break them.....and pay close attention to all social media posts involving their school.

Overall, I enjoyed the course. The material was relevant and presented in a manner that was easy to understand.

I've taken several on line admission courses over the years but CM201 was as good as it gets! I'm motivated to update my resource book and re-create it more in line with the course suggestions. We plan on adding two new admission reps this spring......this course will be a priority for them!
