Really enjoyed the video. Be positive, let your students know that you are here for them and you love teaching. At this point, students know the school rules... begin building relationships!

Also, ensure that you are proactiviely supervising your students at all times... and that students know all of the safety measures and procedures.

Good stuff. Create a caring and positive learning environment for your students, build relationships with your students, and hold students accountable to their behavior and responsibilities in a fair and professional manner.

The advisory committee and especially a mentor teacher are there to help.  Remember, it's OK to ask for help.  Building relationships and a strong network with those that can help you is very important for everyone.

Our job is to be good role models for our students... develop relationships, and always be professional.

I've learned about the components of a CTE Program of Study. CTE involves much more than I originally thought.  Also, I learned about the 12 elements that make up "high quality CTE."  This was very informative and broadened by view of CTE.
