About me

Activity

I have had a student who was hard of hearing, and had interpreters in class helping him. I treated him like every other student i had in class and didnt cut any corners with him. When he didnt understand me i had help but for the most part as long as i took it slow when i explained stuff to him on a one on one situation. After my class was over he thanked me for treating him the same as everyone else but helping him when needed.
I always when doing lecture try to use real world experinces, asking my students if it has ever happened to them, then explaining exactly where im going with it. It really seems to help them understand what im tring to say and they grasp the concept ten times better.

The main Problems i see with orentation is that we have rules that the students have to live by while enrolled and we should start it off from the first day (orentation) so that when its there first day of class they allready now that there not allowed to wear certain things, or have certain things on them etc.. If we start it at the begining then there is no reason why a student can say they never knew it was a rule.
I have found that in some cases that if you have a student(s) that are understanding the topic better then other is kinda turn them into tutors. It makes them feel a little better about them selves and there learning if there helping there peers crasp the concept of the class room.

I have found out that racing my motorcycle is the best way for me to releave my stress. I usually go to the race track and hang out with my friends, cut jokes, have a nice meal or three and generally unwind. When im out on my bike i just forget about everything and just concentrate on what im doing. I come back to work on monday and feel 1000000% better.
