One of the biggest challenges for me is learning student's names.  Our classes are only 3 weeks long and the class size can vary from 8 or 10 students to nearly 30.  With the smaller class sizes, it's obviously not as difficult but my most recent class had 21 students and it took me all of the three weeks to remember all of them.  Another challenge is having to stay motivated while teaching material I don't feel proficient at.  Anything electrical has always been a problem for me so teaching it is very difficult.  I'm not one to back down… >>>

As a person who has been in my field for 30 years and performed on-the-job training for numerous people, doing it in a classroom setting is as new for me as it is for many of the students.  I consider any information and advice that will help me improve and become more confident to be valuable.
