I have learned that it is a team effort ot prepare for an audit.  It is most important to have policies/procedures in place to ensure an audit finds onyl minor issues due to human error, not a systematic problem.

The financial aid office is an important component of the admissions process as well as student retention.  Godd services all round is important.

The bottom line is to know the rules/regulations to ensure your school is ethical.  Your reputation is on the line if a staff member goes outside of the rules just to get students enrolled and/or to keep them enrolled.  Integrity counts!

I agree that doing the right thing is best for the school and more importantly for the students.  I believe in a well-trained staff and keeping a vigilant eye on what is said and what is sent in an email and/or text.

My experience teaches me to hir instructors with current, real-world experience.  The student experience is much more positive.

I acknowledge that at itmes that my school may not be the right fit for a candidate,  I always encourge the candidate to find the irght fit; afterall we are in the educaton business.

It is extremnely important to listen to the candidate - check in and give them time to think and respond or ask further questions as they gather information from the rep.

We have been working toward adding value resources to meet the new needs of potential candidates.  I agree it is all about what a student perceives aobut a school - they are shopping.
