I learned that there are different types of students such as noisy, quiet, disruptive, intimidator's and procrastinators, I learned how each of these types behave which gives me better insight on how to address each student and make sure they stay on task. I also learned that some students may drop out due to technical difficulties they will face, I plan on checking in with my students one on one on a weekly basis to assure they aren’t facing any technical issues. For my students that are quiet I will reach out to them individually to make sure they aren’t… >>>

This lesson taught me about the three types of personalities students may have and how those personalities act and learn. I also learned that giving feedback to students is crucial for them to build confidence. I plan on giving encouraging feedback and positive feedback to students to keep their spirits high and motivate them to keep moving towards their goals. It’s also important to ask the students for feedback for myself as well, so I can learn where I need to improve or if I need to slow down and go back over subjects

This lesson taught me how to remain professional while also showing students my authority and confidence in an appropriate way. Also I learned that I am able to share my hobbies with the students to gain their trust and build a bond with.

I learned in this course that as an instructor it is my role to provide help to the students in class and through teaching as well as through technical support in grading, assigning online courses, and the computer systems that they will be utilizing. In addition to that, I learned that even if I feel knowledgeable on a subject, there is still more information and skills I will need to learn in order to be a successful instructor.
