Always be up to date on policies and information that can affect your role. 

Through this module, I have learned how important marketing is for our organization. There are not only regulations we have to abide by, but we also have the autonomy to change it up within those regulatory guidelines. So there are still opportunities to be creative and curve our marketing towards what works best for the university’s programs.

Always have an understand all admission requirements and keep a checklist to stay organized. This will allow the next departments to have a clear picture on what to due next with the student file. Interdepartmental communication is so important, it could make or break the student experience.

The Admissions Staff Training Process seems to be a good bridge to understanding the process through many lenses. It’s important to know the rules that affect our institution, especially if they are not followed. It’s important to remember that all of our received training is a requirement of the Florida Commission for Independent Education.
