I want to use techniques learnt in this module, such as use of positive language instead of punitive language, use tentative stems and checkout, use the model ARCS: attention, relevance, confidence, satisfaction, and acknowledge presence, emotion, though and concern.

Technology allow us to be close to students, and show ourselves in a more direct and authentic way.

There are different student profiles, that require adapting our teaching methodologies to their learning styles, and needs.

To offer a welcoming learning environment is relevant to improve student retention. We as teachers can contribute by making ourselves available, according to a certain SLA, to help students achieve their academic goals.
