Figuring out what stress coping mechanisms works for you is highly important. Not every one will work for everybody. For me, meditation (surprisingly not mentioned) and exercise are very helpful.

We live in a society of high expectations, both personal and professional. Being honest with yourself about what stressors take a toll on your health can help you to prioritize what stress is worth managing and which is not.

I have learned of some really great resources to help create exams and online tests. It's great to see technology and modernization of once time-consuming tasks being utilized to help instructors with time management.

I've always enjoyed using to-do lists, but have found it difficult to prioritize between school, pt job, and ft job. I think using a sense of consequence and urgency, tied with research into the best free to-do list apps, could help me prioritize and keep regular updates on my to-do lists.

Getting to class early to make sure everything is set up, looks good, and that you set a positive tone for the classroom before the students even arrive, is key to starting out on the right foot.

I always enjoy the professional development aspect of advancing and learning more about yourself and your career, so the self assessment portion really stood out to me.
