We must be a guiding light for our students.  If we tell them we are going to help them, then we need to follow through.  If we can't help them, then it is our responsibility to find someone who will.  Follow up with the student to make sure he/she was helped.

It is our job to make sure that every detail to the student is accurate and transparent.  The University depends on it.

Accurate information must be conveyed to the student.

When you are giving out information regarding the school, programs, etc. have facts and not assumptions.

It is very important for a school to be transparent.  All disclosures must be accurate and so should representations.  Make a student feel as if he/she are the most important student at the school.

I learned about the Triad of Regulations.  I also learned that even though the University is accredited through a regulating body to receive Title IV funding, certain programs still have to go through state accreditation for licensure or certification.

I take the mission statement of my University very seriously.  We are here to provide an educational need.  Students want to be heard and given direction to get the most out of the degree he/she receives.  We have to help them along this path.  We have to challenge rules sometimes to bring about positive change.  The world is evolving and so we need to evolve as well.
