I've regularly used the flipped classroom and reflective learning, but I want to look into more innovative techniques. I like the idea of finding defibrillators in the immediate area. There are so many new tools being created every day that can be super useful in the classroom.

Recognizing that online environments can still be active, collaborative classrooms is key to a successful online course. Taking the time to plan a structured lesson with multiple ways for the students to learn and show their learning is important for everyone, the teacher and the students.

Active learning engages the students in the process of learning rather than just letting them listen to you talk. Using a variety of instructional tools will promote movement and targeted learning goals, even in a remote environment.
