I try to frequently engage my students and ask them how they are doing. I ask them about their highs and lows as it relates to what we are covering in class or the lab.

Understanding the different learning styles allows the instructor to create opportunities for each student to learn from the lecture.

First impressions are important and gives the instructor the opportunity to get to know the students. It's important to build a student-teacher relationship.

Planning ahead and being prepared for your class.

The importance of instructors serving as models, managers, and motivators while adapting their teaching style to meet student needs and institutional goals. I’ve learned that professionalism involves not only mastering the content you are presenting but also having a self-awareness of your progress and continuing to develop.

 
 
 

It is important to take the time to learn your team identity and the unique talents they bring to the team. Allowing each individual to express their individual talents will be the key to building a successful team that has a unique identity.
