I just finished ED 111 and it shows what I am doing in class is a good start with my students.  I already have lectures with discussions.  I also use small groups that later present the information to the class.  They start out seated as a group and by the end of class they present in front of the class.  I did learn a few other ideas to try in class.  The biggest thing is to not be afraid to try something new.

This was a very user friendly class.  I must say it does help to be able to talk to someone, even if they don't say anything back.  Exercise also helps. 

This course showed me a few new ways to look at teaching strategies.  It also showed me why the strategies I have already been using were working.  I never knew the technical names before.

I just completed ED 102 and it reinforced what I have been doing, but also gave me a few new ideas to help out in my classroom.
